make it easy!

We (the people) have a marvelous opportunity to improve the performance of our federal and state governments!

The root cause of the waste, complexity, and ineffectiveness of the bodies of laws of government has been identified by our investigators.  That cause is, simply, the lack of quality in laws and lawmaking.

The Quality of Laws Institute has embarked on research programs that will expand the principles and standards of quality to encompass laws and lawmaking.  The end result of these efforts will be a much higher level of government performance, in which the bodies of laws will serve the best interests of the people as a whole at all times.

Of significance, the quality changes that we are developing will provide a proven blueprint and successful working model for all the world's democracies.

Think of this as not only a near-term betterment of governance, but a quality-based lawmaking system that will endure - and continue to improve - in perpetuity!

We are honored to include you as contributor to the quality improvement of our country's legislative foundation.  Of course, the Quality of Laws Institute is registered as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization under the United States Internal Revenue Code, so your donation is tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.

Donation Options and Privacy Policy

The Quality of Laws Institute's success is due to the hard work of volunteers over the past several years.  Your donations make it possible to support these volunteers, continue and expand our research projects, and pay our few employees to continue the process of improving our democracy's lawmaking system.

Donations are made to the Quality of Laws Institute, a non-profit corporation registered in the US State of California. The Institute is approved as a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization by the US Internal Revenue Service, and has the Federal Employee Information Number (EIN) 33-0657297.

There are several ways to donate. We want you to make a donation in the best way for you, so have tried to make it easy. In summary, we can accept checks or money orders in any national currency, wire transfer or electronic funds transfer, and credit cards. If you want to make a donation in a way that's not specified below, please contact us!

PayPal is a Web site that accepts credit card and bank transfer payments. You don't need to set up a PayPal account to donate via PayPal. Visa, MasterCard, Amex and Discover are accepted. Because of PayPal's fees, any donation of under 35 cents or so doesn't reach the Quality of Laws Institute. Instead, consider letting your small donations add up to a dollar or more before sending it with PayPal.

If you have a PayPal account you also can log in and select "Send Money." When prompted, specify donate@qualityoflaws.org as the recipient, and you will be presented with the Institute's information. Send the payment as you would any other payment. Funds go directly to the Quality of Laws Institute via PayPal.

The fee charged by PayPal for payments is 2.9% of the transaction plus 30 cents per transaction. (For a $100 payment, this amounts to $3.20 or 3.2%. For $10, the fee is $0.59 or 5.9%). PayPal accepts non-US accounts and funds. We will send a "thank-you" email when your donation is received.
